Making a patch out of scrap fabric with acrylic paint, plus hand sewing!
Tools and Materials
- Scrap fabric
- Acrylic paints (or fabric paint)
- Painting medium for fabrics (not necessary but nice, don't need for fabric paint only for acrylics)
- Iron
- Needle and thread

Step-by-Step Instructions
Cut a piece of fabric about the size you want them patch to be
Paint on the fabric :) make sure to let completely dry, then heat set it (iron it for 15-30 minutes, or toss it in the drier for about 30 minutes)
Cut to size and pin down, account for space to sew in
Sew into the piece of clothing you want! By hand is alright, I recommend a strong floss, and machine is okay too
Knot your work and BAM patch :)
