This series of videos is meant to serve as an introduction to the basics of computer-aided design using Autodesk Fusion 360. Fusion 360 was selected as the primary CAD software for the makerspace because of relatively low system requirements, free student licenses, and support across Windows and MacOS.

Installation

To install Fusion 360, follow this link, and create an account, if you do not already have one. Once you are logged in, download the Fusion 360 installer, and run it on your computer. After installation is complete, launch the application and log in with your Autodesk credentials. You may be asked to create a team when starting the application for the first time: if prompted, simply create a team called "Personal", and follow the prompts to continue.
