Project Overview

A mount for your phone that will get attatched to your bike.

Tools and Materials

  • PVC Plastic from the 3D printer
  • 6/32 Threaded Rod
  • 4/40 Bolts x8
  • 4/40 Nuts x8
  • 6/32 Wing Nuts x2

Step-by-Step Instructions

Printed the 3d model, remembering to splice it so that there wouldn't be any issues in the printing process.

Threaded the holes connecting to the main piece where the clamps slided into, and drilled the holes of the sliding peices with a drill bit a tiny bit larger than the 6/32 threaded rod so that the sliders could slide along the rod.

Acquired the bolts and nuts, and the threaded rod, and cut it to desired size.

Assembled all of the pieces, screwing in four screws in the four holes in the square cut-out of the main body, and attatching it to the top clamp. Then with my bike I screwed in the bottom clamp, and then threaded the sliders in with the threaded rod, not forgetting to put the wing nuts on for controlling the sliders.
